I am currently 38 years old, and I have visited 86 countries. Before I turn 40 years old, my goal is to hit 100 countries. I turn 40 in June 2027… this is my Road to 100.

The road to 100 was never a tick-box exercise for me. If it was a matter of putting a toe over a border I would have hit 100 countries years ago. I travel because I love the adventure, and experiencing different places, cultures, and landscapes – it’s not just about a passport stamp. I started this journey in 2016 and it’s been 10 years in the making… I have found places that have taken me completely out of my comfort zone, and destinations that fuel my passion for food, train travel and history. The world is in a constant state of change, so I can’t say at this point exactly where the next year will take me – but I’m open to suggestions.
